The 43rd edition of the International Film Festival of Huesca has officially started. During its opening gala it has granted the french director Laurent Cantet with its Luis Buñuel award to acknowledge his career that includes a Palme d'Or in 2008 for his feature The class. After the ceremony his last film Return to Itaca has been projected for the delight of the audience.
Once more Boltaña opens its doors to the world in a new edition (XIII) of Espiello International Festival of Ethnographic Documentary organized by the region of Sobrarbe in collaboration with the Studies Center of the Sobrarbe and with the support of the Provincial Council of Huesca. The festival begins this april the 17th after a week of preliminary activities in which were included the projections of the films Boyhood by Richard Linklater and En tierra extraña by Icíar Bollaín, and will last until the 25th.
The regional television of Aragon (Aragón TV) has published in its website the regulations to acceed to financial support for audiovisual projects in 2015. May 6th is the dead-line to send the documentation to request this support. The modalities of audiovisual production that are elegible for this grant are: european feature films (fiction or animation), short-films, tv movies and documentaries.
