This wednesday the 6th begins the 67th edition of the International Film Festival of Locarno in Switzerland, and in its Signs of Life section the film Antigona despierta directed by Lupe Pérez García, and produced by Toma 78 (Mamá, 2012) along with Labyrint Films (La Jungla Interior, 2013), will be displayed.
The festival celebrates 42 years of existence, with an optimistic approach, resolute to get over this year's crisis... the midlife crisis. With a new spirit and a fresh and energetic executive team, the film festival offers novelties in its projection programme and its activities like the Cinema Coctails Route, guided visits through the city of Huesca, and for the first time it counts with the active collaboration of Huesca Film Office to show the filmmakers, jury members and special guests the Film Friendly face of the province of Huesca.
The shooting of the feature film Análisis de Sangre Azul by Blanca Torres and Gabriel Velázquez has come to an end. The beautiful landscapes that surround San Juan de Plan and Gistaín, as well as some of the streets and buildings of these villages have been the natural sets of some scenes in the film.
